Since 1981, Peace Brigades International has worked in eleven countries on four continents. On request, our projects and country groups have provided protection, recognition and support to human rights defenders working in areas or repression and conflict.

PBI currently has field projects in: Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico and Nepal.

Most of our field projects recruit international volunteers to carry out accompaniment and advocacy work in the field.
